Well, this was it. Our very last wedding of the year. And it just happened to take place in Virginia. That’s in the United States, in case you were wondering. Right near Washington, D.C., which, as I recently learned, is totally different from Washington state. Man, why do the Americans gotta make things so confusing? Either way, it was an absolutely unbelievably gorgeous place. We left Edmonton at 6:00AM on a dark, cold and snowy day. When we arrived in Washington it was sunny, warm and just breathtaking. Needless to say we were incredibly pumped to be there.
We made our way out to Prince William Forest Park, to the aptly named Camp Happyland. And it sure was a happy place.
The two amazing people that inspired all this travel were Jenn & Jonathan. Jenn happens to be a kick-ass wedding photographer herself, and is a serious up and comer in the South Asian market! She pretty much rocks, so if you’re from that area, and need a photographer, make sure to drop her a line!
Now, when you shoot a wedding of a photographer, you know they are going to have everything looking just gorgeous for the photos. And these guys were no exception. Everything was just beautiful, so I’m throwing a ton of detail shots at you!

Having big bowls of candy all over the place made Rob’s day. He’s kind of a candy addict.

And check out this amazing cake! Wowza!

Jonathan had a pretty sweet selection of majorly nice ties from Ralph Lauren.

The very dramatic and stunning first look.

And oh my god. How cute are these guys??

I’m pretty sure fall in Virginia is one of the most gorgeous places you could be.

The ceremony spot was so adorable and unique. Loved the circle around them.

Love this one of Jonathan and his grandfather deep in conversation.

This little gal just loved posing and dancing for the camera.

Jenn & Jonathan, you guys gave us a weekend we’ll never forget! Thanks so much for inviting us to join you, and taking such great care of us! Have a blast on your honeymoon!
Tons of love,
Lauren & Rob
